One plate. One place.
For dinner, I like one single plate of food. Something that showcases a variety of food groups. I enjoy cooking, but I don’t consider myself a chef or a recipe designer. I prefer to think of myself as a recipe curator, putting together a complete meal, on one plate (sometimes a bowl, too) with information found in one place. Our mission is to pass along food worthy of getting seconds.

When I find a new recipe, my mind almost immediately asks, “What else can go with this.” Besides the occasional one-pot meal, I almost always have to find a second recipe (sometimes a third) to complete my plate.

In this age of digital recordkeeping, I forget how I put together my nightly dinner plate. I remember individual recipes, but I wanted a way to remember how my entire plate came together. With a busy family running around, I needed to record our meal instead of finding its pieces scattered across the internet.

I struggled with executing this idea, because it seems so easy to do. It has to have already been done before, right? Then I was inspired to believe, that everything we do has already been done before. Why should that stop me from trying? I sat down and convinced myself it was time.
I hope this collection of recipes helps your nightly dinners come together a little easier, too.
